19 CSR 30-30.020 Administration Standards for Ambulatory Surgical Centers (7-31-07) – Page 6

All anesthetics shall be administered by anesthesiologists, physicians with training or experience in the administration of anesthetics, certified registered nurse anesthetists or anesthesiologist assistants supervised by an anesthesiologist, except for local anesthetic agents which may be administered by the attending physician, dentist, or podiatrist.
